How can someone make me feel like this?
The way my heartbeat quickens with every kiss
Remembering the way you always gently stroke my face
And all signs of unhappiness are suddenly erased
Thinking of how we first met
That moment, I'll never forget
When I saw you smile at me
All my emotions ran wild and free
You were the object, my magical key
I hope you don't find it too revealing
If I ever tell you how I'm really feeling
Because I don't think I could ever stand losing you
You mean too much to me, it's true
I had always hoped we'd be together
I hope our love lasts forever
Love Is;
Love is when you care more about someone else's happiness than your own,
You would do anything for them,
You'd rather be with them than anyone else in the world,
You would die so they could live,
When you lose them it feels like you lose yourself,
They're the only thing you can ever think of,
You never even dream of being with anyone else, because they're everything you want,
They have many faults, but you're blind to them,
You would take them back no matter what they do,
When you're with them it's the happiest times of your life,
but when you're without them it feels like there is this great big hole in you
You always wa
Love,
Is beautiful,
Is pain,
Is wanted and needed,
Like the falling rain.
Love,
It completes you,
It doesn't die,
It moves,
It'll make you cry.
Love,
What I breathe for,
What's worth waiting?
What's inside,
This game of baiting?
Love,
You can't escape,
You can't deny it,
You can't ignore,
Or try to forget.
Love,
Every waking moment,
Every beat of the heart,
Everything you do,
For love from the start.
Love,
Find it within you.
Find it soon,
Find it in the shadows,
Of the fading moon.
The way I look at it; love, romance and Prince Charming do not necessarily make for a happy ending any more than winning a race or a competition does. What makes a happy ending is something a little less talked about than love: Freedom. The freedom to be who you are without apology and without shame. I do not mean freedom from pain or discomfort or exhaustive trials, of course not. Part of happiness is the knowledge of pain. The freedom I speak of is the freedom to explore the boundaries and possibilities of who you are, of your whole being without judgment and condemnation, without being shunned by those you love.
